First off this place is more than vegetarian friendly. I usually get their mushrooms but all of the meat alternatives are awesome. It's top quality. Everyone is very kind and pretty accommodating. There's a cute outdoor space to eat as well as a nice little interior.

Do you love tacos as much as I do? Then I highly recommend hitting up Hugo's for some yummy tacos. This taco stand is located on the south west corner of Cold Water Canyon & Riverside Drive. A few tables are outside and they have indoor seating to the right of the stand. Perfect for hanging with friends or doing some work. A stack of games ready to be played and a fresh water dispenser are also available. Hugo's Tacos are made with only the freshest organic ingredients. The guacamole and side of fries are a must:) *Taco Tuesday Specials *Gluten free and vegan options *Street parking

Food is so delicious and the service is quick. So many gluten-free options. Since being diagnosed with Celiac I have missed bean and cheese burritos which used to be a staple in my diet. Hugo's has the best GF burritos and churros. We make sure to stop everytime we visit.

Heading out of the San Fernando Valley and back to Burbank, my car starts to act up around Coldwater Canyon. I guess me AND my car are thinking about Hugo's for some awesome Mexican food. Two great Hugo secrets: (1) their parking lot is huge, it will hold 1000 cars, so go around, behind the restaurant, and rest your Lambo; and (2) after you order, there's a huge dining room behind the kitchen (super clean every time I go) with great A/C and games to play. Connect Four, anyone? Forget the to-go order next time -- grab a table and enjoy your hot food hot. The food is awesome here and reasonably priced, but I have a favorite. it's the breakfast quesadilla. Somehow the eggs inside are 10x fluffier than I can ever make it at home. Get it with some chips, rice and beans. No soda fountain, which is a bummer, but all the sodas you want in cans. An LA mainstay for good reason. I have never had a bad meal here!
